Side note (spoiler involved here): The main character(s) may be a daughter of Qetsiyah, but are NOT  blood related at all. The main characters are not people of color, and this is because the only part of them that are related to Qetsiyah is their soul. Main characters were reincarnated as they had died before they were even born to Qetsiyah. I didn't think this would have to be explained, as it was mentioned in the book, but here I am from a unhappy reader saying my OP should be a person of color. Yes, that makes sense if she was a direct daughter of Qetsiyah. They are not though. Her birth mother was a white women in the Viking era who gave her children up.
