The Heart of my Flower

He was her first love even from the very start,
She didn't need her heart to tell her that,
Love was possible for these two souls,
They just needed to find a way to make it come true,
She was the one who started the dream,
And he was the one who wanted to stay up all night making memories with her,
Each photo was like another page in a scrapbook,
Nothing would ever fade even the time,
Every moment with them was precious,
Every dance they did was another song,
Every dream was another piece of a memory,
She wrote each story hoping that he would find her in time before the hourglass ran out,
He found her in her dream and she took that as a sign,
She still is waiting for love but until then she is going to have to keep dreaming,
They both want to be together and for this crazy spell to wear off,
He wants his heart to be hers,
She wants her heart to be his,
She was lucky in love to find him,
Now all she wants to do is keep him,
Thank goodness he got down on one knee and proposed with a ring and she promised her covenant to him,
That was her eternal commitment of life,
She doesn't plan on letting that commitment she made slide away,
She will do whatever it takes to keep it and him,
That's just the price she pays for love especially for him,
They both want to just be together forever and always that's their dearest wish,
If you only knew the steps they had to go through to get here,
You would think it all was a made up story,
Or just a front for reality television,
This more than just a story,
This is their dream and their lifetime,
They couldn't have picked a better to time to be together than now,
Because now is all they've got,
