Vampires. Werewolves. Elves. Mermaids. They're all myths, right? Wrong. When Katie (later named Cassondra, then Marina) falls in love with the vampire at her school, nothing is as it seems anymore. She gets turned into a vampire and engaged to what she thought was her Prince Charming only to have her heart broken and be backstabbed by her so called bestfriend. She then meets Christian, and finds ways to start loving again. Only one problem: mermaids and vampires are forbidden to see each other. The solution? Turn Marina into a mermaid.
