Hey everyone, I published the book in 2021-2022, so it has been quite some time! I will occasionally update this book when I have the time and ideas. Essentially each chapter of this book is based of a new story/pov and are just imagine moments for JJ and Kiara. Hope you love it <3 (i do not own any of these characters they all belong to netflix.)

This story is all about Jiara! I'll be focusing mostly on JJ and Kiara's story, diving deeper into their connection and where things might go for them. Just to clarify, these characters aren't mine, they belong to Outer Banks! But I'll be bringing in a few new characters of my own to add to their journey.

A story that follows Kiara's life during her year at Kook Academy before Season 1. Detailing her journey of overcoming loneliness and feeling like an outcast in a life that her parents chose for her. She reunites with a childhood friend JJ who has become a stranger ever since her parents insisted on her attendance at Kook Academy. During her self-journey, she'll become more confident with the identity she's chosen for herself even if her parents don't agree. She'll redevelop a secret friendship with JJ that makes her parents wonder what has made her so happy. She will reminisce some childhood memories with the Pogues and recreate some new memories with JJ. It will even tell the story of why JJ might think that door is locked.

This started out as little short story but 23k words later and we have a not so short story about the locked door jj told us about and how over time it became unlocked Goes along with the seasons with a little extra thrown in because why not

My interpretation of Jiara throughout the earlier years (pre season 1). It may lead into the actual plot of the show, but is heavily concentrated on Kiara's kook year. Lots of focus on the friendship between Kiara and Sarah and how that unfolds. Lots of pogue fun. Slow burn with fluff and angst. There will likely be some eventual smut between JJ and Kie. Includes strong language, drug use and mentions of abuse and self harm. Mostly canon, but the plot lines are altered to my liking. It will be regularly updated hopefully at least once a week. The italics are either character thoughts or flashbacks. Any and all mistakes are on me! Enjoy :)

After John B and Sarah go missing, Kiara, JJ, and Pope's lives are changed. Summer is over and the trio has to battle their junior year and grieving their lost friends.
