This story is about him, his chapter in my life or really, my chapter in his.
Well actually, by the end of this it may seem obvious that,
while he was my entire story,
I was only a chapter in his.
I just want to say, to anyone reading this,
I know it's hard to turn to a new chapter when you know someone won't be in, but the story must go on, love.
To the boy who this is about;
I understand now, why you did what you did,
we couldn't be together, I was a child and you were and adult, and while I was completely in love with you, I was just another girl in your perspective. But do know this, even after everything we went through, everything you put me through, everything you said, I'd still do it again.
(This was an online relationship, I know some people don't think you can fall in love online, but for me it was one of the realest things I have been through)
This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story.
Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. If you'd like an updated and more well-written version, please read my other story entitled "Remembering".
