And although it was somewhat pressuring, it felt so reassuring and comforting knowing that we had those amounts of freedom, that was every teenager living on the east coast's mindset, or so I thought up until I met one boy in particular."
Clay, a shy teenagers' life changes when he meets George, a popular and outgoing teen. Together they manage to convince everyone that their ""friendship"" is perfect. But they are liars.

Clay's life has never been easy after severe harm was caused by his drunk father. His mother can't decide anything at home and daily arguments go so far that his mother regularly escapes the house. Clay feels lost and starts blaming himself for all problems at home. Instead of asking someone for help, he decides to start starving himself to gain some control in his life. His attempt to lose weight goes so far that his weight drops dangerously low which leads to a forced hospital stay, causing a lot of traumatic experiences. No one seems to understand the very sick Clay and he starts slipping away more and more, not believing anyone who tells him he suffers from anorexia nervosa. Everything keeps escalating until a young boy with bulimia nervosa stays with him in his hospital room... He had many unique features and a beautiful accent most people admired but not as much as Dream did. Dream was an American student who shared most classes with the boy. Unlike George.. he was absolutely ruthless and reckless, he was one of the most rebellious students there along with his best friend Sapnap. Once Dream met eyes with George, it's like the whole world just stopped. He felt his heart weaken and his stomach twirl. Both boys are from completely different worlds. It's almost Dreams birthday so George decideds to go to Florida to surprise Dream, Sapnap helps with the planning and gets George there. But George's past makes it hard for him to stay there.
