She was once known for the smile she wore on her face, she was able to make people's day change by just being there. She was very much loved by everybody. You could say that she was the type of person to fit into every clique, at school. She had many friends who adored her, and a very tight knit family, with two very hardworking parents, and three older brothers.
 
              But that all changed. Ruth Xander's life took a turn when her parents were killed in an airplane crash. It was like everything changed, everything that mad her such a loved human being, was just gone. She became quiet, and depressed, she never talked to anyone. She was diagnosed with selective mutism. She only speaks with her siblings, but barely.

Noah absolutely despised the fact that his own Father killed innocent people for a living. He didn't understand the point of it. If you had beef with someone, then just talk it out, why did violence have to be brought to everything? Why did killing people and hurting people even exist? Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
