Child Labor Poem

Every being should be taught their virtues and skills from a young age but child laborers don't have a pen in their hand - like they should - but instead are given tools and are sent to work long hours in dangerous places like factories. For the amount they work, they receive little to no money! I was inspired by the book 'Iqbal' about a brave child who fought for children's rights and died a hero. to represent the injustice in these children's lives, I have written a poem

Usually when we look at someone we don't know, we tend not to think about what they could possibly be going through and all the thoughts running through their mind. Our brains tend to make judgments based upon what we see; and everyone knows that's not always a good thing. This is a story-a true story-of how judgment became my worst enemy. Mind you, this is not a happy tale. This is a story of a girl in search for happiness. A girl who has yet to discover herself while journeying down an unpleasant road filled with lies and torturous schemes. Don't let the title of this book deceive you and the picture of the smiling, innocent young woman lead you to believe this will be a book about sunshines and rainbows. What you do not see is the immense pain and anger that hides behind the slight grin. The scars from countless fights that are covered by the thin layer of clothes that nobody will ever see. So think again when you look at this book-because on the inside you'll find the story of the little girl on the cover is not what you'd expect.Terminé

The Troubled Soul (Volume 3: Final Volume)
Once upon a time, there was a young boy who experienced constant pain. The only person who truly stayed by his side was Kallie, his sister. She was his everything. His life, his family, his best friend...his world. Then humanity had to take her away and wreck his perfect, peaceful life. As if it was not enough humans were the source of all his pain and suffering he experienced throughout his life, and the reason for all his scars and symbols, they took away the only person he cared about. Well, enough was enough. He tried leaving humanity alone. He tried living a peaceful life away from all the fighting. It was all he wanted; to live a peaceful life with his sister, but humanity would not allow him that. So, if battling was the only thing humans throughout history understood, then he would bring them a war. So now, he has a new goal. Peace treaties are made between humans but they never last. War, however, forces the loser to obey no matter what for however long the winner decides. If humanity-the entire world-only submitted to the strongest then he would dominate them all. Only he would be the strongest, allowing no other person to even come close to his power. He would burn the world down to its very foundation, eradicating everyone who stands in his way, and rebuild it anew. The new world would be transformed into what he could never have. A fair and just world, devoid of all sins, where everyone can live a peaceful life without the constant worry of what could hurt them next. New laws will be placed while the old ones are removed. All evil will be purged from the world. Any who stand in his way will be turned to ash to help build his world. If the world wanted him to be evil so badly...then he would be a malicious tyrant that rules not with an iron fist, but a diamond one. Of course, there will be many who will fight back. However, there is only one person who even has a chance at winning...and she only cares about her little sunshine.Terminé

When you're the youngest, you often have to work hard to prove yourself to others. Whether it's to friends, family, or strangers, you can never give up you're ground. This is what Robin, the Boy Wonder, deals with everyday. Both as a member of the Young Justice, and as a hero of Gotham. And when the Young Justice and his mentor, Batman, suddenly start treating him as a delicate object for an unknown reason, Robin gets paranoid. Injustice: Broken Family
Kevin Beaumont hasn't always had it lucky. Knowing that his father is Bruce Wayne/Batman, the boy never knew his own father growing up, so he only had his mother Andrea Beaumont (formerly the grim reaper-themed killer vigilante known as the Phantasm) to raise him. Despite being raised by a single mother, Kevin lived a relatively normal life. And eventually, Kevin got to meet his biological father. But after Kevin's 21st birthday, tragedy strikes when the Joker tricks Superman into killing Lois and their unborn child, causing a chain reaction in which Metropolis is destroyed, and Superman murders the Joker out of revenge, now motivated to end world violence and crime, even if it means having to kill. This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father. With his family more broken now than ever, Kevin must overcome his damaged relationship with his estranged mother and must become a hero like his father, determined to stop Superman's new regime and rescue heroes that are missing.
