My heart broke knowing that I was about to break JJ's heart. I pulled away from him.
"I can't do this. At least not now." I turned away before he could look me in the eye.
"Odette what? What are you talking about?"
I looked down.
"Was it me? Did I do something wrong? I mean what you can't just say that and expect me to just blindly agree. Unless there's someone else"
My face changed at the last sentence and he knew he guessed correctly.
