In this novel, there is a teenage girl who is torn between respecting her parents wishes and dating the guy of her dreams. Her parents are constantly making her date boys she doesn't want. She has friends but one of them hates that she has things they will never have. She likes someone who her parents would never agree to. Her friendship group is on the brink of breaking up due to numerous arguments caused by Ashley and Elizabeth (The main character). She wants to keep her group together but also date the boy of her dreams without her parents getting in the way. What does she do? Shall she go against her parents wishes? What happens to her friendship group? Does she date the guy pf her dreams?
