Original Mother

The real original mother was actually named Astrid Mikealson. Her sister was Esther. Henrik was just a month old when Esther became overcome with greed. After getting Dahlia to give her the ability to have children all she had to do was get the man of her dreams. She did a spell in the middle of the night to make Mikeal and the children forget all about Astrid. All of their memories of Astrid were gone, and replaced with memories of Esther. While Astrids husband and children forgot about her, she was trapped in a room underground, a little ways from her old home so Esther could torture her on a daily basis. Esther tortured her, not just by hitting her or stabbing her. Esther tested potions and spells on her, testing her strength.

Before Esther made the Mikealsons into vampires, she tested out the spell on Astrid and her other enemies. All of Esthers enemies were actually Astrids friends, whom found out about Esthers horrible deed.

Now escaped Astrid and her friends are out to get Esther back for what she did to them. The only thing is, nobody knows about them or knows what they are. The storm is coming for Esther, and there's no way to prepare for it.
