The Evolution Of a Coward

There is nothing worse I could've done. Watching as they beat my father to death, with the key to preventing it in my hands. The clue to it all clutched between my rotten fingers, too afraid, too cowardly to run out and trade it for my father's life. I thought I would protect the clue, that my father would get away and we could find the treasure together. Yet there I stood, a coward, too afraid to save the life of the one person who loved and cared for me.

Morgan is a coward. She hid as her father was killed, with the ability to save his life in her hands. In the months after the murder of her father, she had come to the realization that all she was, was a coward. But for the sake of her father, she needed to find the treasure he died protecting. She had nothing after her father died, so she bounced around from crew to crew, trying to save up enough to buy really anything. At only 6 she was homeless, although it was pretty common at that time. Finally coming across an old ship, she realized she had finally found something. Spending years fixing it up, she eventually had her own ship and only at 16. Finding a small crew to man the ship, she began to sink Royal Naval ships. Getting better and better at naval warfare, she could've taken out an entire fleet if she wanted. Once a small sliver in the side of the empire, grew to be a cancerous infection. She was one against an army.
