I saw her husband sitting next to her with his arm around her shoulder, staring up at the man in front of everyone. That's when I caught her glance over at me, and in that split second.. I made a promise, a commitment, a vow, and an oath that I'd never fall into the brutality they call love ever again, as it is something not to be toyed with.
