Jamie has it all - depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a hate for her endless acne. With no friends, a distant family, and a nonexistent love-life, Jamie has made it through her twenties by hanging onto her dream of becoming a professional singer. In the past, she was presented with opportunities, but her fear got the best of her. When a unique talent competition can help start her career, Jamie will either try again or move on for good.

These days, adulthood can be summed up as a time in a person's life where many questions are asked, and the answers are either N/A or sugar-coated, leaving them to figure it out on their own. They say society has a low-attention span. They say people don't read these days. Would it be surprising that the answers to life could be found in a special book?

From the author: I wrote this story in hopes of helping readers face their fears, issues, past, etc. Even though life is hard at times, never stop asking questions and never settle for any answer. Your life matters, and you are loved more than you know. I hope you read this story to the very end. Thank you!

In a bustling high school in the heart of Bangkok, two unlikely worlds began to overlap. Freen Sarocha was the quiet newcomer, a reserved and brilliant student who seemed more comfortable buried in books than surrounded by people. Her mind worked with precision, but her emotions remained locked behind walls she'd built over time. Freen kept her distance, navigating life with logic as her anchor. Becky Armstrong was the opposite-a vibrant, outgoing athlete whose laughter could light up a room. Known for her kindness and charm, Becky thrived on connections, effortlessly weaving friendships wherever she went. She embraced chaos, living life like an endless adventure. Neither of them expected their paths to cross. And yet, in classrooms, during lunch breaks, and across shared sports fields, their lives began to intertwine-sparking moments of humor, curiosity, and something unspoken. But life is rarely simple. Freen's quiet admiration for Becky began to grow into something more-a connection she couldn't name, a longing she didn't know how to express. Becky, as warm as she was, never quite saw Freen's feelings for what they were. Uncertainty grew into pain for Freen, who eventually chose to leave. Leaving the school wasn't just about moving on; it was about protecting herself from heartbreak and finding space to build the life she'd dreamed of. Ten years passed. Freen became a successful doctor, channeling her focus and passion into helping others. Neither expected to see the other again. But fate isn't bound by logic. When they meet again-a chance encounter that neither could have predicted-the years fall away, leaving unresolved emotions and unspoken truths hovering between them. What happens next is a journey of rediscovery-of who they are now and what they meant to each other then. It's a second chance, not just for answers, but for something new. After all, some connections are too strong to be left in the past.

It's an excerpt from Victor Hugo's "Les MisΓ©rables". He says: "The power of a glance has been so much abused in love stories, that it has come to be disbelieved in. Few people dare now to say that two beings have fallen in love because they have looked at each other. Yet it is in this way that love begins, and in this way only." I slowly lifted my head towards Collin and I saw him locking his eyes on mine. It was that same glance I just read. It was so evident in him and I could feel it upon me. I became instantly vulnerable and when he pressed his lips to mine, time froze and an explosive ecstasy overwhelmed our whole beings. *** Jamie grew up in Green Hill, where she devoted herself entirely to painting, turning it into her career. Known for her creativity and the abstraction of her art, she gained a certain success that had made her traveling from city to city. At the peak of her career, temporarily staying in a place called Chaston for a few weeks, she met Collin - a charming young man whose appeal was difficult to overlook. Their first meeting felt like a spontaneous intense chemistry, none of them could fight back. Chaston was the beginning of a new adventure but will this shared and intimate energy last longer or forever, knowing she wouldn't stay there for long? "See you again" is a rich literary translated work filled with life turmoils and psychological transformations that will bring you shivers and emotions. Well, at least I hope so. β€’ Original French title: Elle β€’

THISIS THE OLD, ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE STORY! I left it up because the new version has significant differences, and I know I always hate it when I liked the old version of a story better and it gets taken down, but I still highly recommend reading the new one. Without further ado... __________________________ "Confidence? I've struggled with confidence my entire life. In fact, to this day, I still struggle, so I fake it. Faking confidence is a lot easier than most believe. Stand up straight, hold your head high, roll your shoulders back, look others in the eye, and stop apologising. Soon, your confidence isn't fake anymore." *** Davy and Jamie Myers were sisters. Just like any other pair of siblings, they had their disagreements and fought every once in a while. However, they were also each other's best friends. They never went a day withough hanging out. When an accident takes Jamie's life a week before granduation, Davy finds herself in a place no one ever wants to be. Her depression and anxiety start to consume her until she realizes the only way to keep her mind busy was to sing. So she started singing her sister's favorite music. *** Scott Jacobs always had a hard time making friends. He'd never been overly fond of the human race, so as soon as he graduated college, he moved out to the middle of nowhere to start a new life. A couple months after moving, he met his neighbor, Davy Myers. For the first time in his life, he had a real friend. Will their friendship crumble when she reveals the skeletons in her closet, or will it make Scott fall even more in love with her?

Shall we do an experiment? Hear me out: an enemies-to-lovers where love is complicated but never toxic. Where the female lead knows what she wants and takes it. Where the male lead doesn't growl, rage or slam her into walls. A journey with all the angst, secrets, spice and heartbreak of dark romance without the abuse. Are you ready? ******************************************** It's 1984, Queen on the radio and rage in the streets. Moira Bourne, stretched thin between her nanny job, family drama and university classes, fights for the recognition she deserves. Evander Ward, fresh from a gap year in Europe and eager to prove himself, is ready for redemption. Two people whose paths were never meant to cross. When they do, the collision blows their life to smithereens. ******************************************** "Pass the tea, will you?". It came over me - it being it all, the shame, the anger, the sense of injustice and the nine hours I hadn't slept the night before. Those, maybe, more than anything else, because I reached for said tea and, possessed by that mighty cocktail of resentment, spat in it. I did so making sure he could see it, he could hear it. Then I passed it over to him and waited. His smile, at this point, had turned overjoyed, putting the previous ones to shame, revealing their graft. He had received the answer he was hoping for. He took the cup and chugged it down. Looked me straight in the eye and drunk it all. ******************************************** Fair warning: mentions of racism, ED, assault, sexism, and classism ahead. You know where your limits lie.
