It's a sunny summers day, Skye gets changed into a light green swim suit, Kate joins her, they laugh as their dog jumps into the pool after the toy they had thrown in just moments before. Kate grabs Skye and throws her underneath the water, Skye swims under Kate and pushes Kate backwards over her shoulders, after about 2 hours they get out and dry off, Skye goes for a walk and meets up with a friend named Emily and they go to a field not to far from Skye's house and they sit and talk for a while, Emily looks at her phone and realizes what time it is "Shoot I have to go, see you when school starts". Skye then walks home and it starts to rain when she gets back to her house, and she sits on the couch and watches a horror movie with Kate, they both fall asleep on the couch, then the door bell rings and wakes Kate up, Kate opens the door and her friend is standing soaking wet in the rain, Kate and her friend finish watching the movie, Skye wakes up and looks around, then walks upstairs to her room where she passes out dead asleep in her bed.

The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me.
