It hadn't rained during the afternoon. After five days of unceasing rain, he thought today's clouds would take a break. And so he wouldn't feel this dumb about forgetting his umbrella at home. Nevertheless, destiny had something more in mind than letting the professor walk to his flat in complete and silent loneliness. Or rather, someone who could be by his side throughout the aggressive drizzle.
