I want to hold your hand, even though the thorns remain in mine
I can't show you a ruined part of myself so once again I put on a mask
A rose that bloomed in a garden of pain, slowly developed walls of thorns to protect itself
A flower that reminds me of the one I see behind the mask
 And I know I can't hide because I'm a monster, and I'm afraid
I'm so afraid that you will leave me once you find out
The only thing I want to do is to bloom a flower that resembles you

But I can't without destroying it
