Not My Bodyguard

21 parts Ongoing

Jennie Kim, a popular actress and the darling of the entertainment industry, finds herself in need of a bodyguard after a string of suspicious incidents. Her agency hires Jisoo, a skilled professional who has protected countless high-profile clients. But just days before her assignment begins, Jisoo is called away on an emergency. Desperate not to lose the lucrative contract (and not wanting to leave Jennie unprotected), she ropes in her best friend Lisa Manoban to fill in temporarily. The problem? Lisa has zero experience as a bodyguard. The only thing she brings to the table is her black belt in karate and an uncanny ability to charm her way out of trouble. Armed with a borrowed suit, a pair of sunglasses, and some questionable advice from Jisoo, Lisa steps into her role as Jennie's bodyguard. Chaos quickly ensues. Lisa's unconventional methods-like teaching Jennie self-defense during a stakeout or accidentally becoming friends with her stalker-drive Jennie crazy. Yet, amidst the comedy of errors, Jennie finds herself drawn to Lisa's genuine care and unshakable loyalty. As the incidents around Jennie escalate and Lisa begins to suspect a deeper conspiracy, she must figure out how to keep Jennie safe while navigating her own growing feelings for her client. Will Lisa be able to protect Jennie without blowing her cover as a "real" bodyguard? And more importantly, will Jennie's heart be safe around her unlikely protector?
