"What are you gonna do? Leave again?" I turned around to make sure he couldn't see my face as I finally broke down.
This isn't what I wanted. This isn't what I signed up for. We could've stayed friends. He could've stayed far away from me and it wouldn't have made a difference.
I started shoving my clothes into the bag, just to give up as soon as I felt a lump in my throat forming and my eyes becoming blurry. I just want to go home.
I felt him come up from behind me, pressing his chest against my back.
"Jae." He whispered. I stopped moving and looked down at the mess I made of my belongings. He placed his hands on my shoulders and pressed his lips against the back of my head.
"I can't," My voice cracked. "I've wanted to be you, so badly, for so long. I've done nothing but wait around and hope for it to work, but it won't. We need to accept it Jungkook." Warm tears strolled down my cheeks as his fingers gently traced the sides of my arms from my shoulders down to my fingertips.
"I'm not going anywhere." He whispered back, placing his fingers on either side of my hips and pulling me even closer to him. He nuzzled his face into the side of my neck before taking in a long inhale; he was smelling my hair. "And if I need to go, I'll just take you with me."

"You can always come inside if you want" I said quietly, hoping he would say yes. JK glanced at me quickly, taking in my serious expression. "Clari, I'm not after some one time thing, I think both you and I are thinking the exact same thing. I want to show you that I have respect for you... and I want to prove to myself that I can wait, although don't blame me if I break" he replied, I saw the side of his smirk on his lips at the end of the sentence. I breathed out a smile. He cleared his throat, "Because once I fall deeper down this hole, there won't be any coming back up it" Such a warm feeling spread from around my chest.
