His feet march onward, onward like the decay turning the grass a sickly yellow in tune to the sound of Hana's screams, onward, onward - unsteady sweeping steps, the thudding of his heart inside his chest, thudding, rattling, like a photograph inside a locked drawer. He has only ever known rage, he has lived on destruction, he is irredeemable, and he is villainy and he is a pulsing heart.

warning: this contains manga spoilers (uptil the end of s5 so when that's done this'd be spoiler free). canon compliant ofc. this is a oneshot but it's rather long so i'll be splitting it up into bits to post. this is gen but it can also be read as shippy (shigadabi and spinaraki) iuw. this has some graphic descriptions of violence and mild swearing, but nothing too out there.
