While working on TV show that is going into a second season, Daphne and Blake mention that they will be on the hunt for an actual haunted house or location. And they are so busy that they forgot about Daphne's own birthday. Fred gets an idea to invite the others. After a lot of usually style mysteries, they find out about Moonscar Island. When they get there, they get more haunted stuff then Daphne or Blake really wanted for their show. After meeting suspicious characters, cat creatures, and real zombies, things start getting even worse when an army of Apathy show up.
