Are both sides ready?" The judge leaned forward in his seat as he faced both of my parents. Attorney J.Walton : "Ready for the People, Your Honor." He nodded as the judge turned his head to the other side of the court room. Public Defender: " Ready for the defense, Your Honor" Judge Arson : "Will the clerk please swear in the jury? Clerk: Will the jury please stand and raise your right hand?
