Minho and Thomas are the best of friends, and they live conveniently close to each other. They hang out with a small circle of friends, which has always been the case. However, recently, Minho has been subtly mentioning a friend of his from Bristol, England named Newt. According to the idea, he was supposed to come in a few months as an exchange student and stay in Minho's house for the entire duration. Thomas was fine with it, as he was a considerably friendly person and trusted that two months would be easy to manage. What could possibly go wrong? Well, if falling in love was a bad thing... then, a lot, a lot could go wrong. (Some drawings in random chapters!!) Cover and all art by me! Newt had heard the stories, knew them like the back of his hand: everybody has a soulmate in this world, one person made just for them, blah, blah, blah. Their initials were inscribed on everybody's chest, just to the left of the sternum, directly over the heart. That he was fine with. The problem for him, personally, lay within the other condition: that if you came within close proximity of your soulmate, but failed to meet them, you would have to relive the day until you succeeded. Which, in theory, seems like a good idea, but that's because most people didn't fuck up this badly.

This is an alternative universe of the Maze Runner series. It's basically the same except everyone has a soulmate and they can find their soulmate by a tattoo on their left wrist. (Y/n) is sent up into the maze a year before Thomas, and when they see her tattoo they're all in shock, especially the leader of the builders. Her tattoo matches his, he is afraid to trust her and puts the girl at a distance. Slowly though he falls in love with the girl of the glade.
