What's with a Tranvia de Kabayong Maligno? An electric train car converted into a supernatural, horse-drawn carriage by three of the most unlikely Filipino hero adventurers you will never hear of anywhere. Traveling in the countryside in the Philippines in the 1970s was a dangerous affair. Buses would get lost into strange cities like Biringan then overnight be stuck at the top of some forest mountain in the middle of nowhere. The underdeveloped countryside roads were dark and unlit, and the least troubles you could face were bandits or drunk government soldiers. There was actually a legion of darkness that plagued North, South and the far south, Demon Hunters in a rickety rat-carriage pulled by Nightmare horses and armed to the teeth with supernatural deterrents that worked to rid the Philippines of the evil, supernatural monsters that preyed the dark roads. Meet Gorgorya Mariposa, Tomoko "Bading" Garci and Wong Fook Hing or Bakal Tinapay, the best retro-heroes in this supernatural action adventure short story series.
