My uncle and cousins are Dream Hackers. Don't take the word "hacker" negatively. They're guardians, but they sometimes need access to your dreams. They're the good guys so don't worry. I became one of them because of a nightmare. Now I have to fight the Night Crashers. Lucky me.


I wrote this for English class and I decided to post it because I really don't have any stories posted... I hope you enjoy it anyway!! XD

Can't seem to find a good spot again. *sigh* I gave up and just stared at the ceiling. When I opened my eyes, blurry tears fell as I closed them again, feeling extremely nauseous. I turned and found the first soft thing and shoved my head deeper, snuggling in the pillow. To my surprise, my voice was croaky, strange and demonically deep. More tears fell from my eyes and my nose ran, I wiped it clean. I heard sniffles echoing followed by a sneeze. It was Friday night or Saturday morning I think. But I was was awoken by some snoring. It was loud. I thought it was my broken alarm clock that made a deep alarm but when I opened my eyes I froze. I quietly shuffled out of my bed, put my foot on the carpet and tried not to make noise. My door was closed so I tried to open it but it made a creak. There were two neon green lights glowing. At me. The creature then switched positions and stood up which made move backwards. It moved closer. There was no more room. I fell to the floor. It came to my face.

My neighbour's house is normal. There are two stories, stairs, and a tiny porch. A red door, and many windows with pretty crimson shutters. My neighbour's house is normal. The lights are on when they need to be, and off when they don't. The grass is mown, and there are sometimes cars in the driveway. My neighbour's house is normal. I see them sometimes. They're gone most of the day. We wave when we see each other, coming or going. Those two seem nice. Didn't they used to have a son about my age? My neighbour's house is normal. They turn off their lights about the same time we do. Except in that one room. The lights in the white room stay on late each night. I tried to watch them, once, to see how late they stayed on. I fell asleep. When I woke up, they were already off. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I hear sounds from the house. Almost like muffled screams. Everyone gets night terrors, it's common knowledge that, at night, everything can sound scary. My neighbour's house is normal. Except when it isn't.
