Our Curse

I don't regret our late night talks about the world and all our problems.I don't regret loving you. I regret letting you in. I regret letting you take control of me, and my mind. Making me believe that after all the laughs, tears, and smiles, that we could actually run away and be happy but, life just doesn't happen like that.

It was a tale of tears and sorrow after it was all done and over. After he left but, I thought to myself he left to save me, to save us.... I looked down at my starting to swell stomach and wiped the tears away. I took the key and locked the door with no intentions of opening it again, to see the stars within the portal.
