Sirius Black buys a shop next to a café/book store and a plant shop. He turns it into a Tattoo Parlor and a Piercing Place.
Remus Lupin owns the cafè/bookshop next to what Sirius bought. He doesn't pay much attention to the new shop that was being made next to his.
One day, Remus enters the Tattoo Parlor; they ask Sirius to turn the music down as it was distracting his customers. Sirius walks over to the speaker and turns it off, politely.
As Sirius walked behind the counter again, he slides a piece of paper towards Remus and turns around, waiting for Remus to leave. The piece of paper had his number scrawled on it.

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years.
