"I was supposed to be the next Darth Vader." I said as I looked into the fire. "We all were, me, Snow, Hera."
"Where are they now?" Cara asked me causing me to look up.
"Dead. They're all gone. It's just me." I paused as a moment of silence for the friends I lost. Even though it had been years ago it still hurt the same. "The Empire became restless for looking for people that had the ability to wield the Force. So they turned to their next big thing...experimentation."
"Wait so you're saying you weren't born with your abilities." I nodded my head confirming the Mandalorian's question.
"I'm just a freak experiment from the Empire. Aren't we all at this point. Maybe not in the same way as me but we are all the way we are today as a result of the Empire's doing. Just some of us are a bit more weirder than others."
"You can literally move things with your mind. I think weird is an understatement."

The Foundling
Din Djarin must defend the child against dark Force wielders who would gladly take the little one off his hands. He will have to decide whether to trust some new allies, for the safety of the child. Note: This was written before season 2 of The Mandalorian came out. I wanted to throw together some characters from different Star Wars series and see how they'd interact. Turns out, a couple of them did end up meeting. In this story, they get to go on a whole adventure. They learn some things about each other and about themselves along the way, which is often painful, but could create bonds of trust if that's what they choose. Getting into these characters' heads and exploring the Force and the galaxy far far away have been an amazing ride. I finished this story on May the 4th, 2020. Then later, my friends urged me to polish it up and put it out there. So here it is for anyone who would enjoy it! It's not meant to replace anything that's going on in the show (which has been amazing so far, by the way). It's just an exploration and speculation on these characters and their universe. This is a fanfiction. The universe, most of the characters, and most of the locales belong to Star Wars. If you search a character or planet on Wookieepedia and it comes up with nothing, chances are I made them up (because I checked, too, before I gave them names). However, they were sometimes partly inspired by existing characters or planets in Star Wars. My use of the mando'a language was inspired by its use in Karen Traviss's Republic Commando novels (which I highly recommend if you want to learn some things about Mandalorian culture . . . And they're good stories.)Complete
Vibrant Eyes | Din Djarin
"I'll cover these vibrant eyes And forget the pain" -Vibrant Eyes, CG5 ~*'*'*~ Din Djarin's life changed in three instances. In the first, he was saved by a Creed and a people. In the second, he saved a child from cruelty and an Empire. In the third, someone latched onto this life of save or be saved and defied it all. He met her once and never wished to again. She was a healer he'd never seen heal, a creature of sight that saw far too much, and the most frustrating person he'd ever met. But she found him again. She forced her way into his life and there she stayed. Din Djarin didn't like not understanding things and he didn't like not understanding people. He would never understand her. But, maybe, one day, he would be okay with that. They just had to stay alive first. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.Complete
