When I was a child I dream to have my own happy ending just like what I've watched in Disney movies. I had been reading lots of romance books, and I even listen to my relatives how they find their own the 'one'. I imagined how their life is written in paper with black and white suddenly get splashed on by the beauty of colors just because they found the right person that will bring their reality to vibrancy. The moment I saw his face, and the moment our eyes had met - I knew that moment he is the one for me. That I was done searching for my own knight - the knight, I was waiting for didn't come galloping with his white horse but instead, he came into my life right after he knocked me down using the soccer ball. I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "Who are you?" I asked him but instead of answering my question he suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me for a run. I don't know where he will bring me but to my surprised, I let him. We run away from something I don't know. I just know that there is something that was pulling me through a deep unknown darkness. But he was there and now we are running away. I don't know who he is yet I trusted him with all my life. For that instant, I knew my heart belongs to him. *** *** "I didn't mean to love you yet I love you so much I cannot hold you so tight." I said those words and I couldn't stop myself not to feel the bitterness of the truth we are going to face. But still I hold her hand even though I know that it isn't right. We run and I save her. Yet, I don't know it was the beginning and I don't want to find out the ending. Still, the end is near and I cannot hold her even though my heart already belongs to her.
