King of Smoke

Emerson's loss has crippled her, the loss of her family, the loss of her Entrella, the loss of light. Emerson has plunged herself and the world into darkness after the loss of Rye. Her very soul is shattered and she doesn't care to pick up the pieces. Instead, she wants to watch the world go up in smoke. The plan comes to a shattering halt when she realizes that she doesn't have the power she used to have. Will she let that stop her or will her revenge on Rin be the last thing she does, and it just might be.

Gale's intent will be put to the test. His intent to save the Seven Royal Regions, his intent to save Emerson, and his intent to somehow fill the shoes that Rye has left. Will he be able to become the King that people want to be or will he be haunted by the ghost of a man he always wanted to be. The rebels are looking up to him asking him to lead but can he lead the way he wants them too.

The two will go head to head and toe to toe. As they learn their goals don't quite align. Will Gale be able to put his love for Emerson aside to save his people or we he let her darkness consume the world. Emerson's darkness will consume everything if someone doesn't show her the light. That is until someone, shows it to her.
