"You can't put your life in danger for me" he yelled and tried to walk away from me.

I couldn't let him get hurt. I had to help him, I don't get why he was pissed off which annoyed me even more. If the situation was the other way around he'd do the same.

His hands were moving in his hair like he usually does when he tries to calm himself. I tried to follow him but the rain made it harder.

"Why do you care so much" I yelled back finally reaching him.

"Because I love you" he yelled turning to face me "I've always did"

takes place after the events of season 1 (edit: I wrote this way before season 2 or 3 came out so yuh) It's been a month since John B and Sarah have been pronounced dead. No bodies were found which gives them the smallest sliver of hope. But hope of what? That their friends somehow survived that deadly storm? That their bodies are still floating around somewhere in the Pacific? There is no hope anymore. John B, their best friend, is dead. There's nothing more to it. He's dead and so is Sarah. Coming to terms with this has been one of the hardest and single most heartbreaking thing any of the pogues have had to deal with.
