Jada witnesses it first hand when her long-time friend Aisha gets stuck in a situationship with the vice president of their university's Alpha Khi Stigma. She watches her secure friend fall slowly into insecurity unbecoming to her; she's also being watched by someone with more power and control over her than she realizes.
