Escaping an arranged marriage, Arien leaves Rivendell with her mount Riel (meaning Princess). Leaving a life Arien did not wish to have behind, she travels down the path of becoming a ranger. As a ranger, Arien travels over Middle Earth slaying creatures of evil that cross their paths and helping the lost. 

As her travels lead her back towards the Rivendell border, Arien crosses tracks with Gandalf the Grey. The wizard invites Arien to accompany him and some others on a quest, not saying where Gandalf only gives her a date and a home to find and be at in order to join on the quest.

Shadowed by her secrets, Arien makes the journey with 13 dwarves, a hobbit and a wizard. Struggling to keep her secrets Arien is forced to make choices causing conflict to arise within herself.

Follow Arien and the company in a quest to reclaim a homeland, as secrets unravel and a love arises.All Rights Reserved
