The difference a single decision can make...

c!Wilbur Soot has been a thorn in c!Quackity's side at Las Nevadas for too long. But when he decides to kick him out, things don't go as planned and, instead, he finds himself in a relationship he never imagined he would want. As they grow closer and begin revealing their vulnerabilities, Quackity and Wilbur find themselves building a future together they'd never dreamed of. But being vulnerable also opens them up to the worst of their fears and insecurities, threatening to destroy their happiness.
When Wilbur's mistrust leads him to start asking to see c!Dream, Quackity finds himself again facing Dream and the worst parts of himself as he finds out exactly how far he'll go to keep Dream away from Wilbur. Lengths that find him in exile with Tubbo as Dream plays on and prays on their husbands' minds in order to bring the server back under his thumb.

As things begin to spiral out of control, will they be able to save each other from themselves? Will Quackity be able to confront his past to save their future? Or will their plans all unravel when c!Dream pulls the strings?

AU: This story takes place during the time Technoblade was in prison with Dream.
