after some time they meet an entity that claims to be an "mid-level reincarnation manager" who  offers us a deal: we get a second chance at life but in exchange we need to help break the stalemate in RWBY between Ozpin and Salem. one way or another, though as a way for us to accomplish this this entity grants us a singular set of powers and appearance of any character from from any show, (within reason of course.) on top of this we will arrive 12 years before cannon
we choose Kurumi Tokisaki from Date a Live and head out on our quest.
