A man with a loud, beaming voice spoke as he entered the room wearing what appeared to be black training gear, causing me and everyone else present to jump to our feet. "I'm your Supreme General Commander, Sebastian Hale, but to all of you, it's General Hale. And I would like to be the first to welcome you to 'Hydra', your new home." The man stood in silence, waiting, looking, taking us all in as his lip slowly twitched upwards in a way that was sure to make people feel uncomfortable.
"As you all know, the great epidemic of Mutagenic Dysplasia years ago has had a great impact on life as you all may know as normal. Mutants all around, airborne diseases, toxicity within our plants. What you may not know is that it also mutated humans. Some humans have mutated a gene, to which in return have been gifted with powers." He spoke as if it were some actual gift graced from above. "Congratulations, each and everyone of you here has been gifted with such a gene, whether you're aware of it or not." His voice rang through the room. "We've watched you since birth, and we know you're all ready."
