Icarus has fallen. The powers of the Northwest Safe Haven Avatar have been stolen. The citizens of Safe Haven have lost their first line of defense. Now, in an act of desperation, three teams of have been dispatched by the Safe Haven Council to collect the absent Worthy, retrieve the missing Conqueror, and awaken the sleeping Founders. The first of these missions is the responsibility of Retrieval Team 1, who are tasked with bringing D'kala N'chaba, Kia Sosoto, and the M.I.A. Addison back to Safe Haven. However, though they now know Addison's location thanks to the card sent to his foster mother Latika, Team 1 is well aware of the fact that bringing him home is a lot easier said than done.
