Gwen Bloom, also known as Sweet Tooth, has been chosen along with six other individuals from Belle Reve to go on a mission. Gwen isn't told where they're going or what they're doing. All she's worried about is her friend, Blackguard, back at the prison, and wether or not she can escape these weirdos without getting her head blown off. 

   But then she meets Colonel Rick Flag in all his American-glory. Gwen starts to fall for his leadership and loyalty, and partially his accent, not to mention how handsome he is. She starts to flirt with him, and is able to see he's fond of her, too. 

   All Gwen cares about is trust. It's one of the only two things she cares about in this world. But can she trust Rick? Can he be one more thing she cares about?
