The Banshee -Paul Lahote-

December 18, 1993, Alice Cullen ran through the forest in search of something. Something that had been calling out to her for a long time, a child. But, she was no ordinary child. She was a Banshee. Her Aunt believed the child to be cursed, but Alice thought otherwise. Rescuing the child was no easy task, but as time went on, it became easier.

Now living in Forks, Mavis Hale tried to live as normal a life as possible. But the fears of her past creep up on her, and the legends of the Banshee cause the Cullens to fear for her. Was Mavis Immortal like the rest of them, or would she fade with time?

However, when Bella Swan enters the picture, everything changes. The fears of the future seem insignificant with a pack of newborns on the way. In preparation for the night, Mavis finds comfort in a person she never imagined, Paul Lahote.
