Made this for fun, so idk if I'll finish, since I'm usually content with keeping stories in my head.

Unfortunately, this is my first story here :).  
Me sharing my love for funny newgrounds man here is funny lol.

Sorry if the cover and formatting is weird, still learning how to use this thing.

The artwork here are edited screenshots of Tankman episodes, if there is any unedited stuff, it was most likely made by me.

(NOTE THAT YOU DON'T MEET TANKMAN UNTIL LIKE CHAPTER 12 IM SORRY ABOUT THAT I JUST LIKE TO WORLD BUILDING A BIT HAHA)

If you want to get to that part sooner, I suggest starting at chapter "Resentful Gift" since he comes into play semi-smoothly afterwards. Majority of the chapters written after that will have Tankman to some extent!

After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... The Dawn of X has arrived in the Marvel Universe. Xavier and his allies have founded the new mutant nation of Krakoa, promising a safe and supportive home for all mutants no matter who they are of their past crimes. Mutants have flocked to this new paradise, glad to free themselves of the hateful world they once lived in. Yet not all mutants are so eager to join this new nation, including the mercenary 'Darktruth'. But now a job has arrived at his door that will lead him to Krakoa, and force him to make a decision about what his future is going to be. Note- This is a new story starting off during the current 'Dawn of X' in the X-Men section of Marvel comics using some of my original characters. This is essentially a continuation of of fan-fiction I wrote on the old Marvel boards and more recently the Mickey's Tavern site, the latter where I've been posting this so far. It's a bit of a soft reboot, given some of these characters were left off in places that created problems for this story. I'll do my best to reintroduce all of my characters, and hopefully as I do I answer any questions for people who may have read my fan-fics before. This is an evolving story, meant for me to explore different ideas that are playing on my mind, particularly that grow from reading the comics. If this causes any inconsistencies as it goes (this is probably an ongoing story, with no set ending yet) I apologize, but will do my best to try and avoid that.
