My first finished book. Inspired by the song Home For The Summer by Sara Kays. This book contains strong language and has a few smut chapters, you can easily skip those if you want as I made sure they don't contain important information about the story :) Clay and George used to be inseparable, but when Clay had to leave the town they had both grown up in together, their friendship slowly faded away. Now, years later, they still hadn't forgotten about each other but were both too scared to reach out to one another. That was, until Clay decided to come home for the summer, going back to the town the two of them had made so many memories in, in the hopes of finding George. After Clay gets evicted, he has to live on the streets. He breaks down completely and he doesn't see any purpose anymore. When he sleeps on the streets, he sees a boy passing by everyday. One day the boy comes up to him, giving him food and coffee. After Clay gets a high fever, the boy invites him over at his house, but that's where Clay makes the biggest mistake of his life... George and Clay had formed a close friendship since they met in a Minecraft server and knew they lived close to one another in real life. Yet little did George know, that the person he knew as Dream online was actually his bully in real life. After a rough time at school from all the bullying, Dream was always there to comfort him even though he was the one doing the damage. Clay was the one who was poisoning George with his words full of nothing but his own pain. There's a camp coming up and both of them are looking forward to it, until they find out who they are in a room with. The days creep closer and George tries to find every way out of it, but there doesn't seem that there is one... Dream finds himself in an introverts worst nightmare when Sapnap convinces him to host seven of their close friends for Sapnap's 21st birthday. The only thing holding Dream together was knowing he could finally meet his best friend, George, in person. However, the person who stepped off the plane felt like a complete stranger to Dream- an unrecognizable personality inhabiting the body of the person he thought he knew better than anyone in this world. Years of online friendship had built up this moment for him, only to come crashing down when George wasn't the man he thought he was. tw: swearing, drinking, fluff/smut

Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. It seems like they are the only ones left on earth, surely they were destined to meet one another. TW's: -Homophobia (conversion therapy) -Abuse

George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

After George and Clay got together, life went on. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with their relationship and they show this clearly. After a lot of bullying, trying to break their relationship and a lot of pain caused, George doesn't seem to be able to take it anymore. (I recommend reading the other first!) Warning for mature content - Dream confessed first. George had long known about the other's feelings, so the only thing that surprised him was that Dream didn't admit it sooner. He expected this, he planned for everything. Well, almost everything. George's only issue with this new development was how long Dream was making him wait. After George is kicked out from his home for being transgender, he looses hope in ever finding someone that would accept him for who he really is. George's only option was to move in with his homophobic grandparents and he only wishes to be called a boy however that apparently was too much to ask. In a last attempt to find happiness he attends a music class as he enjoys singing. He meets a boy, Clay, however will Clay be just like the others? I'm aware that this is not how it goes for everyone)

George, a high school student content in his routine of going to school then roller skating for hours on end, is in for a shock when a new kid is hired at the skating rink he frequents. New-hire Dream is a strong-willed nineteen-year-old (nephew to the owner of the skating rink) who already seems to be butting heads with George. At first Dream appears to be private about his personal affairs by withholding certain details of his life from George, but he soon finds George to be a great comfort and support when he falls on hard times. As George learns more about Dream's shocking past, will their strikingly different upbringings lead to a difference in priorities, or can their undeniable attachment to one another help form a lasting relationship between the two?
