Afghanka

Kaspar Kask, a young and naïve officer is just out of school. He leaves behind his family, his love, and his old life behind in his homeland as he gets accustomed to his new life as a tanker with the 285th Guards Tank Regiment. Kaspar doesn't know why he's there, since he had never been, nor had been taught much about the area, but holds no questions.

Eager to start his career as a commissioned officer after spending years studying military tactics and following the footsteps of great generals, Kaspar happily goes along with his transfer and lands himself in Afghanistan. The story talks about the ups and downs that Kaspar and his tank crew face in their time fighting in the "Graveyard of All Empires."
