The government was watching, something weird. Watching. Watching over us all. The sun was shining on the huts, the trees in the forest were able to stop the sun from breaching in. The maze was open again, new trials, new people. Kids were chosen, different back stories, a different plot. A scream came from the maze as a man came running out, his footsteps thumping against the grass,his feet on fire (Not literally). A roar came from he direction of behind him. A long black spike slammed into the ground, one after the other, uprooting the dirt and the grass. The man tripped and all that could be heard was a thud on the ground and a roar. The people in the camps all turned their heads and ran towards the direction of the scream. The man that was on the ground defenseless, he turned around, his stomach facing the sky. A slop of drool fell onto his face.The goop splat on his face and he tried to wipe it off. the monster bent down, snatched him up and swallowed, and ran off into the maze.

The citizens who lived nearby were shaken awake by the sounds and were left sleepless. It was said that five people volunteered to investigate the source of the racket. The sounds stopped an hour later but....the group were never seen again. Some believed that whatever was out there, got to the unfortunate people while some think the group is stuck in some place and they can't get out. Either way, no one really knows for sure what happened to them." This story soon became a rumor the following years to come. Older people would use this tale to scare off children wandering in the woods at night. Pranksters would sometimes report that they've heard the same strange sound described in the story; and this is why everyone starts to debate whether this narrative is fictional or real. A newcomer will soon uncover whether this tale told by the townsfolk is true or not as an unintentional instinct leads her to where it is. But will the truth ever be revealed? He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complet

People always wanted to unwind from school works and other personal problems. It might be going to parties, travel out of town or fly to other countries, or just having an adventure with mother nature. A group of students had a sudden boredom of clubbing and bar hopping every week. They thought about having an adventure instead. That is, away from their city that never sleeps. Kim found a spot outside their town, everyone agreed and was excited to be there. They already had plans on what to do when they get there. All of them packed their things and go. Not only have I never seen him before in my life but everyone in our town always wears nice clean and washed clothes, therefore nobody should be looking like him.
