A pirate is defined based on what people see from afar and the things they hear. Some things may be true but others not so much...  The same goes with being a princess to a kingdom. The only difference is that others' views don't affect a pirate, in contrast to the fact that it can affect a princess or rather the status of the kingdom.  
 So, what happens when a known pirate comes across a princess that only cares for the people of the kingdom? Asking the Pirate for help to find something that would change the tide to a brewing war to her kingdom, even if it means going into hiding from her Royal Status altogether...
