I was raised in a religious family, from a young age I’ve
been thought that:
You can’t have sex before marriage, you should go to church, believe in god, gay
is wrong, lying is a sin…
My family tried to raise me that way, I was so obedient and I did
everything I was told by them.
I was living in a Small village; everybody knows everybody,My father
was working in the city and my mom was an educated housewife; I could say that she did a pretty good job raising me and my brother Joe, I’m Home schooled, My teacher Mr. Smith always
told me that I’m smarter than the other kids my age, I find this fair; since I
spend my whole day reading novels such as Hamlet, Great Expectations... and
other, every week my dad brings me a new story from the Library down town,
which I had to read and analyse within a week or two, depends on it’s length,
then give him a report about the story...Every Sunday we go to church, and last time we did, I
noticed a man in his late twenties, who looks unusual he had tattoos all
over his body, as well as piercings, Something about him wasn't right,
probably everything about him was wrong.
my mom gave him a deadly glare as we were coming out of church, she took my hand and guided me to our car, the rest
of the Journey was silence, and I was curious, So I speak out.
‘Who was he?’ I said looking at the window .
‘I don’t know, he looks like the type of person, to be as far as possible from him’
She spat.
