a short compiled book of poems regarding feelings and answers to unasked questions; apart from poems it might also contain some small pieces of texts, thoughts mostly they are; don't even know if these will make any sense to you but to me they sure do; some are scratched and penned down innumerable times and the outcome lies bare in front of you to judge
most of them are completely hypothetical and i thank the great powers overhead everyday for me being the luckiest human on earth, i have the best company everywhere that i go, i can never thank them enough so i don't intend to demean them in any manner whatsoever
this place is my personal space, and an outlet for the strangers world-wide. everybody needs somebody to vent to or relate to, so here i lie, bare for y'all to see through whatever armour i keep myself hidden in. if i'm ever asked to speak about myself, i won't be able to say a single thing, and no doubt, i'm really great at stuttering (yeah, no kidding here). so i choose to write. every day, every single day, pushing away thoughts of giving up and instead of marking my wrist with a semicolon, i choose to mark the sheets of paper in front of me with those, because a semicolon could mean a lot of things and to me, it's a new life, every single line starting after a semicolon is a new dimension for me and i guess (i hope) it's the same for everybody out there as well; well yes, i am broken beyond repair but that doesn't mean i wouldn't try to keep myself together for my loved ones
for somebody who has no intention to live long, i have too many expectations from life at times, one of them being the wish for y'all to stay with me in this journey. all criticisms are accepted but please don't leave

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? Madness
Mind is a wonderful thing.. it's something that makes us-humans, different from one another. We all have a nose,a mouth, two hands, two feet, two eyes, one head-it's the mind inside that head that makes a difference. It's the mind that decides our character, it decides our actions, it defines our life,it's our mind that makes us love or hate something or someone. People aren't all bad or all good.. they have a touch of both but it's the mind that tricks us into loving or hating a person. Most of the times we don't actually love a person, we love the image of the person that our mind creates based on our memories with that person & same goes for the hate as well, we have bad memories with a person, we have a bad image of the person which leads to us hating that particular individual. We don't see people for who they actually are, we don't see the world for what it actually is, we merely see the image of it that our mind has created, the world for us is nothing more than an illusion. Our own personal illusion.. What's funny is that no one's ever going to know your illusion-your world as it is for you.. Despite all of the brilliant illusions that our mind creates, mind itself is the greatest creation of the mother nature. Without mind-this great tool, there would've been no cell phones, no television, no books, no music, no love, no hate, no life. nothing! But in reality, the mind is but a twisted yarn of madness. Yet every mind is great in itself. And didn't they say..? "No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness" -with love, Harika
Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. when an aromantic falls in love
I'm an aromantic, and always have been but found out late... it provided me with lots of clarity. However, I found myself in a deep struggle trying to differentiate between being in love & being lonely since it has happened to me countless times before. So here I write little things now and then about the girl I'm in love with, in hopes that eventually, I can find the truth about my desires. (oct) ----- I'm surely in love, yes. I'll proudly write and show off the girl I'm in love with, I'll tell the world how much I love her, I'll make others jealous about my unconditional love for her all the way through. My Brooklyn. (nov) ----- As much agony as I am in, falling back and forth wondering what my love truly is, I'm trapped. I'm trapped every time I look at her even if I try to look away. it has me sick to my stomach, but I don't really mind. maybe it can end the way I want? (dec) ----- 3 days before confessing. I've given up. I'm closing the book. I'm closing the story, I'll love her in a different way from now on, live a healthy life Brooklyn, I love you. For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. The Dark Witch: The Nox Haven Series
I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ...
