Y/n Lupin has been best friends with the Weasley twins ever since the year before first. y/n developed romantic feelings for Fred in 3rd year. y/n and her brother were adopted by Remus Lupin when she was only 8 due to their muggle parents getting involved with a gang and later killed.
The twins and you are in 5th year while Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Ryland are in 4th year.(Just pretend Ginny is in the same year and they are only one year apart. Other characters who would be in the same year as harry are also in 5th year.. ex, Draco, luna, Seamus...)
Also please note that none of the characters who died in the movies/books are dead now. Meaning Harrys guardian is Sirius:)
