When hardship is experienced, it is only human of us to think on the past. Sometimes though, we end up in a cycle of rumination, reliving events that cannot be changed; we become depressed in our memories. Writing can be therapeutic, so here is a collection of poetry exploring a range of sad and confronting memories. By sharing these poems, I hope to not only further my journey towards peace with the past but to connect with others out there who may be feeling the same way. The feeling of being unheard, unloved, and misunderstood. The flooding wishes to be treated as a breathing human being, all written in a piece of crumbled paper. She simply writes using her tears as an ink. To heal, to be heard, to love and be loved. It's a journey with a mixture of pain and joy.
