After 638 days of experimentation and isolation, Subject L53 is impromptuly rescued by the Titans and taken back to Wayne Manor to rehabilitate. Unbeknownst to her saviors, Subject L53, now known as Elle, possesses supernatural abilities that they have never seen before. Suffering from retrograde amnesia, Elle begins to form close bonds with the crew, regaining her physical and mental strength. But, after an unexpected run-in with Gotham's newest and deadliest criminal, the Red Hood, she now has to face remembering who she is and who she will try to become.
