The Ritual

Young Frida has just started her woman's time. She sat with her mother and many other women of the village that had begun their women's time to share stories of what is to come in her life. She of course was not afraid, for she was a strong young woman of great strength and cunning. She learned of the ritual that many young women from her village would soon embark upon and the expectations of the woman she would soon become. Her life would never be the same.
